Castaway STA offers unforgettable fishing charters in the waters of St. Augustine, led by the experienced and knowledgeable Captain Joe. With over 20 years on the water, Captain Joe is dedicated to providing a safe, productive, and enjoyable day for anglers of all skill levels.
Depending on the season and conditions, trips may target a wide variety of sought-after species, including Redfish, Amberjack, Flounder, Black Grouper, Cobia, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Black Drum, and several types of Snapper.
Fishing techniques typically include bottom fishing with specialized gear, and trolling when seasonal opportunities allow.
Comfort, Safety & Top-Tier Gear
Guests fish aboard a fully equipped 24’ Mako twin-engine center console, designed for comfort and performance and accommodating up to six passengers. The boat features outriggers, downriggers, and all necessary equipment for a successful day on the water. For added convenience, a private, portable "Poddy" is available in the forward bow area.
Castaway STA provides all rods, reels, bait, tackle, and ice, as well as the required fishing licenses for the entire group. Any legal catch you choose to keep will be professionally cleaned and packed on ice at the end of your trip.
